The BR 02 Sofa Bed is a design icon and eye-opener from Martin Visser. Designed in 1960 it has not been out of production for a day. Due to the clear construction and timeless design language, this design has been created to transcend generations! The sofa can be converted into a single sofa bed by a simple action, ideal for creating an extra sleeping place.

The BR 02 sofa has a round tubular frame, matte chrome or black epoxy coated, and many options for upholstery. Due to the sleek shapes of the design, we recommend a stretchy fabric such as wool, which makes the shape stand out best. The sofa can also be covered with leather. Because leather is not elastic, there is room in the upholstery. Where an elastic fabric returns to its original form, leather can form folds.

Materials: Sofa / Bed.  Black epoxy or matte chrome base.  Seat, back and armrest upholstered with fabric or leather.  The BR 02 upholstered with leather shows two vertical seams in both the seat and backrest.
