The Ptolomeo® x4 Vertical Bookcase by Opinion Ciatti, designed by Bruno Rainaldi, is a 360° revolving, self-standing bookcase that combines minimalist aesthetics with functional design. Its sleek metal structure and customizable configurations make it a versatile addition to various interior settings. 

Crafted with a central column and square shelves, the Ptolomeo x4 offers a clean and modern look. It is available in two finishes: lacquered black with a polished stainless steel base, and glossy white (RAL 9003) with a matching lacquered base. 

Configurations

The Ptolomeo x4 comes in three configurations to suit different storage needs:

• Kit A: Features shelves spaced 5 inches apart, ideal for horizontal book storage.

  • 110 version: 8 shelves, accommodating approximately 240 books or 680 CDs.

  • 197 version: 14 shelves, accommodating approximately 420 books or 1,190 CDs.

• Kit B: Features shelves spaced 10 inches apart, suitable for vertical book storage.

  • 110 version: 4 shelves, accommodating approximately 140 books.

  • 197 version: 7 shelves, accommodating approximately 245 books.

• Kit C: Combines shelves spaced at 5 inches and 10 cm, allowing for both horizontal and vertical storage.

  • 110 version: 5 shelves, accommodating approximately 165 books or 105 books and 170 CDs.

  • 197 version: 9 shelves, accommodating approximately 295 books or 175 books and 340 CDs.

Materials:  Vertical free-standing 360° revolving steel bookcase. Adjustable feet.   Base in polished stainless steel with structure and shelves in lacquered matte black or base, structure and shelves lacquered glossy white RAL 9003.  

Available in two sizes with three different compositions: KIT A, KIT B, KIT C.

KIT A 110: composed of 8 shelves 5 inches apart from each other.  It stores approximately 240 books or 680 CDs. For horizontal book storage.

KIT B 110: composed of 4 shelves 10 inches apart from each other. It stores approximately
140 books total. For vertical book storage.

KIT C 110: composed of 3 shelves 10 inches and 2 shelves 5 inches apart from each
other. It stores approximately 165 books total, or 105 volumes and 170 CDs. For vertical
and horizontal book storage.

KIT A 197: composed of 14 shelves, 5 inches apart from each other. It stores approximately
420 books or 1190 CDs. For horizontal book storage.

KIT B 197: composed of 7 shelves 10 inches apart from each other. It stores approximately
245 books total. For vertical book storage.

KIT C 197: composed of 5 shelves 10 inches apart and 4 shelves 5 inches apart from
each other. It stores approximately 295 books total or 175 books and 340 CDs.
